  It's always a pleasantry to walk into this place greeted with a smile while humorously explaining the weekend specials. I highly recommend the All in one with bacon. Their pancakes are great in all of their variations. IT's arguable as to whether or not they taste best reheated. I keep going back to get more data.

  This is one of those few rare places that ACTUALLY deserves 5+ awesome stars.
  
  On the far distant edge of Davie is this hidden gem of a cafe. Located just across 595 from the Sunrise Ikea, its location isn't hard to find or complicated to get to unless you rely solely on navigation.
  
  So the story is that the original owners and Ally herself work at the locations (they just opened a second one over on West Oakland Park) and it is true.
  
  Two of us phoned in a pickup order and the lady that took the order was sweeter than molasses eaten up with sugar crystals. South Florida locals will know just how rare that is!
  
  Inside during the pick up, we suspect the lady was Ally herself, the entire cafe was full. The lady taking payment was even sweeter than on the phone and was incredibly wonderful. You can tell just how much pride this great family take in this hometown business.
  
  The food was perfectly done. Scrambled eggs done to perfection and with more flavor than you can produce at home. The pancakes were impossibly thick and perfectly balanced. The bacon and potatoes were also just as delicious. I seriously cannot wait until I can try something else from their cute menu.
  
  Ally's Cafe is officially recommended to anyone that appreciates great service and awesome food. Hey, they close at 2pm on most days, so plan accordingly!

  As a lover of breakfast food, I can say I was disappointed with this place. I expected something much more because of the reviews.
  
  I ordered my eggs over medium, they were almost less than over easy. The pancakes are too soft and mushy, I couldn't handle that texture at all! Made me feel nauseous as it slid down my throat. If you know me you'd me shocked to hear that I didn't finish pancakes.
  
  Coffee was okay, home fries were the large chunky & not crispy kind that I don't prefer. Grits were the regular fare, toast & English muffin were regular, omelettes didn't look too bad but I didn't try them.
  
  I came with two friends that ranted and raved over this place. Even told me it was better than my favorite JP bagels place. They were just as fast, I will say that. But when my friends saw that my pancakes were meh they told me it was my fault because I should've picked something else. Sorry, if a place is supposed to be good, everything should be good!
  
  Still on the fence about a second chance.

  This was our first time coming here after rave reviews on google and yelp we were excited to try! The wait time was an average time considering it was brunch time and very busy on a Sunday. We were seated in a timely manner and everything was fine until we met our server. Shannon was the most unprofessional woman we have ever had to deal with while dining out. She was extremely rude and anytime we asked her a question she responded in a manner that made it seem like it was inconveniencing her that she had to do her job. We asked her for ketchup once and she rolled her eyes and responded "yes" before abruptly walking away to get it. She only checked up on us once, which was when she came to deliver the check (which is kind of pointless?). Anyways, the food was great and was quick, however I wish that the owner took a little more time to make sure the quality of employees matched the quality of food.
